Every month on a Monday we will be holding ‘Noises off’ Open mornings, from 9am-12.30pm. On these mornings bookings will be controlled to ensure there are no crowds and sound effects will be turned off or down so that visitors that may have sensory processing issues can explore in a quieter environment.

Those visitors wishing to experience our normal sound effects and Helicopters in Action show should avoid visiting on these days, which will be clearly marked on our booking system.

Are you a parent or grandparent looking for a place to meet other parents and have some fun with your under-fives?  Why not come along to our special monthly session for pre-school pilots? The sessions include exclusive use of our soft play area and lots of fun craft activities to keep the little ones entertained, and from January we will be adding our aeroplane pedal cars to the activities available. Every child will also be given a drink and a biscuit. See you soon!

Romsey Male Voice Choir will be performing at the Army Flying Museum for the first time on Saturday 28th September 2024.

Founded in 1995, and now one of the foremost male voice choirs in the south, the 60 strong Romsey Male Voice Choir likes to give its audiences something just a bit different. We are delighted that they will be performing in the Museum's Hayward Hall this Autumn.

Love LEGO®? We’re delighted to be welcoming The Brick People to the Museum, who’ll be offering a wide range of LEGO® related activities.  Come along to build super flying machines out of LEGO® bricks, take part in a speed build challenge, complete an anagram trail around the Museum and browse a wide range of models on display. There will also be a LEGO® Duplo® area for younger builders.

Tickets include admission to the Museum. This is an event for all ages so please be aware, tickets are required for everyone aged 2 and over. There are three sessions on each day:

09:30 - 11:30

12:00 - 14:00

14:30 - 16:30

Please note, visitors will be required to leave at the end of their booked session so do allow yourself plenty of time to enjoy the activities within the session times.
